Meet Our Nurse Practitioners

Monica Rondeau, PNP

Monica Rondeau, PNP Monica Rondeau attended the University of Kansas, in Lawrence, prior to pursuing her BSN from the University of Kansas Medical Center. After graduation, she took a position in the Neonatal ICU at Overland Park Regional Medical Center where she worked caring for premature infants for 7 years. While working in the NICU Monica pursued her Master's as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Joining Pediatric Care North in 2014, Monica is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and loves working with children and families every day.

Monica and her husband Eric, have one daughter and a bossy terrier. As a graduate of KU, Monica is enthusiastic about Jayhawk athletics and loves spending time with her family, in the sunshine whenever possible.


Angela Carter, FNP

Angela Carter is Northland born and raised. She graduated from North Kansas City High School and soon learned to love Oak Park High School as well, where her 2 older sons graduated from and her youngest will attend.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999 from Culver-Stockton College.  She started her nursing career on a med-surg unit and pursued travel nursing for a year prior to discovering her love for Emergency nursing.  She worked for over 15 years in the Saint Luke’s Northland emergency department where she became a Certified Emergency Nurse, forensic SANE nurse and Charge nurse.  Angela obtained her Master’s degree from Cox College in 2018 and became an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. 

Angela is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  After graduation, she spent two years working acute care in Atchison, Kansas and is thrilled to return to her hometown roots.  She loves acute care and is happy to be providing guideline-driven medicine to the pediatric population.   

Angela is married to Bryan and a total #Boymom to three sons.  She spends her free time attending baseball games, band concerts, theater productions and visiting her son at college in Springfield.  Other loves include crafting, cats and trying to master her green thumb.
